There are two facebook groups that have recently grabbed our attention, which are full of information, history and pictures of the Holywell area.

One well established group called "Memories of Holywell (pre 2000)" which has been active for 2 years and has over 1400 members sharing their memories of Holywell and the surrounding areas, with some great historical pictures and stories.

The second group “Holywell magazine” is a new and rapidly growing group dedicated to Holywell, past present and future, where members are actively sharing both old & current pictures and stories.

If you are like us and interested in the history of the community both groups are well worth joining and hopefully some of the members will contribute to some future magazine articles in particular November’s edition when we commemorate 100 years since the end of World War One.
