This may be oldish news but it's always good to keep up to date with the progress, especially when we hear people asking what's happening!

In a Twitter post, the construction company Anwyl stated "We're impressed with the progress of the Holywell Extra Care scheme in Flintshire" with some equally impressive photos.

Construction on the £8.5m extra care housing scheme, which will be called Plas yr Ywen started last year on the former Ysgol Perth y Terfyn on Halkyn Road.

The four-story apartment building will have 43 one-bedroom apartments and 12 two-bedroom apartments, with a range of facilities and 24-hour onsite care and support for its residents, including dementia care to be managed by registered housing provider Wales and West Housing.
